Joyful Giving

The rooms were filled with smiling children as they pulled their new fleece pants out of their gift bags. Here in Nepal, winters can be very cold with no source of heat in the home. The children specifically requested some new warm pants to wear in the chilly concrete house. In each of the 3 children’s homes we visited, these pants were not just a need but a want that the kids were happy to receive during this holiday season. A simple gift to express love and care for our precious kiddos.

Christmas is the perfect time to share what we have with others through giving gifts. Our team in Nepal enjoyed preparing these presents for 65 children in 4 children’s homes. It also gave us the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with these kids as we distributed the gifts. We’re grateful that we have a reason to celebrate with one another because of Jesus’ birth and all that He’s done in our lives here.
